Darling Harbour is made up of a large recreational and pedestrian precinct that is situated on western outskirts of the Sydney central business district.
It's the perfect place to go for a drink, a meal or to entertain the kids at the city’s coolest playground. Stroll through the Australian National Maritime Museum, or bar hop by the water at Cockle Bay Wharf.
Originally named Long Cove, the locality extends northwards from Chinatown, along both sides of Cockle Bay to King Street Wharf 3 on the east, and to the suburb of Pyrmont on the west.
Darling Harbour is home to some of the best things to do in Sydney after dark. This video though, was filmed at the end of the Covid restrictions of 2020, and it's only now starting to spring back into life!
