A short 45-minute drive and you’re already in the surprisingly wild countryside on the edge of Sydney, driving through scenic valleys of the Berowra Valley and Kuring Gai Chase National Parks..

This is an "immersive experience tour". An easy 30-minute bush walk, overlooking picturesque valleys where we discover ancient Aboriginal engravings and a mysterious unidentified engraving. Many Sydney locals don't know about these!

Get up close and personal with koalas, kangaroos and emus in their natural settings! The wildlife park we visit successfully mimics the natural environment of these fascinating creatures, making this experience feel far less like a zoo and more like ‘a walk on the wild side’.

Our first beach of the day! A stroll through the beautiful beach-side village of Pearl Beach. There's a good chance that this will be the most beautiful beach you've ever seen, but there's more surprises just around the corner!

Feeling thirsty? We drop in for a refresher at the Mediterranean-styled Boathouse Hotel. Located in the idyllic coastal town of Patonga, surrounded by the Hawkesbury and Brisbane Waters National Park.

Lunch is at the stunning waterfront Woy Woy Fishermans Wharf restaurant overlooking beautiful mangroves. Dine on award-winning local seafood. Our guests receive 10% off all meals and premium seating overlooking Pelican Island Nature Reserve. The Central Coast's premier seafood market is right next door. It's also where you can browse the local sustainably-sourced, catches-of-the-day…

Walk along the pristine beaches and headlands. Chat with local surfers and fishermen, or have a look for fish in crystal clear sea pools. Don't forget to bring your swimming costume if it's a warm day for bodysurfing or having a dip under a waterfall!

Customise your tour! Choose your optional bonus stops below:
Waterfalls and rainforest: Cool off under the falls or just relax in the lush rainforest in Brisbane Waters National Park.

A boutique distillery: Sample an array of award-winning spirits and liqueurs are produced. Many of the ingredients are sourced from the flowers, fruits and herbs plucked straight from the distillery's amazing "fragrant garden". Wednesdays - Sundays only

A local oyster farm: Oysters supplied straight from the majestic Hawkesbury River. Sit back and watch the sun setting over the waterways, sampling oysters and prawns. Wednesdays - Sundays only

The only pearl producer in New South Wales. These Akoya pearls are of exceptionally high quality, are rare, and are believed to be premium on the global market today.

Mrs Macquarie's Chair: the best vantage point to view the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. The chair was carved out of rock by convicts in 1810. Make sure you see the REAL chair not the fake that's shown to unsuspecting visitors!

Sydney’s best pie: the internationally acclaimed Harry's Cafe De Wheels is an iconic pie cart situated near Woolloomooloo naval dockyard. Countless celebrities have eaten here during its 75 years in business.

Best Experience Ever!
"Experience the wonderful sites Australia has to offer, not like the typical tourist destinations. Matt took us to the place where he discovered the Aboriginal and ancient carvings on the rocks in the bush."

Nice to get out
into nature
"I’d already done the sights in Sydney. Pretty but crowded. Heading up the coast with Matt was a refreshing change and def my best day in (or around) Sydney. Great experience with local animals, awesome food and a walk along ocean cliffs in Avoca."

The other Australia
"There is so much more to experience and explore just outside of the city. Berowra and the surrounding area is stunning. The beach at Avoca is beautiful and interesting with its little rock pools. Matt's knowledge and friendly disposition contributed to a great day out."

Best trip we had in Australia
"Matt did everything possible to show us the best time and augmented our trip to likes and interested and showed us the parts of Sydney we would have never seen if it was for this tour.

We got a private tour of places we would only see if an old friend who lives in the area showed us around.

He made Sydney feel like home, and we will be coming back."
