Secret Beach in Sydney's

Forget Bondi - this is a real Australian beach!

No expensive cafes, no tour busses, just an unspoilt, beautiful beach that not many locals know about! Go on, dig your toes into the warm sand while you look out onto the deep blue Pacific and watch for dolphins.
It’s an easy, fun and interesting trip and the perfect way to explore the natural coastline, riverways and local communities outside of Sydney. It’s what we locals do when we want to get out of the city on weekends and holidays!
We pick you up from your hotel in Sydney. Then - within an hour - you’ll be greeted by koalas, kangaroos and emus in their natural setting at your first stop.

A short drive later and we’ll be in the easy-going, old fishing village of Brooklyn. From there, we catch the local ferry across the grand old Hawkesbury River, famous for it’s birdlife and rich history.

On the other side, we discover the small, picturesque village of Little Wobby, completely surrounded by a national park… and only accessible by boat.
"Wobby" is nestled between the cliffs and water’s edge, our footpath meanders along the waterline, sometimes disappearing briefly under cottages and emerging again into sunlight and beautiful views.

Many guests have commented that this part of the walk is like a scene from the Greek Islands! No shops or souvlaki here though, just an incredibly beautiful walk.

From here, it’s a comfortable 2-hour return walk through lush vegetation. The paved path is easy and undulating - enjoyable for anyone who is even moderately fit.

Lots of nature, history and - for the brave - a dip in the ocean at a secret, secluded beach. Paradise!

Then it’s the afternoon ferry back to ‘civilisation’ to the quaint Brooklyn fishing village for fish and chips.

You may have seen the breathtaking scenery of the film "Oyster Farmer" set on the Hawkesbury River, and that’s our last detour for the day! This local oyster farm supplies produce straight from the source. Sit back and watch the sun setting over the waterways, sipping complimentary wine and sampling oysters and prawns.

Then it’s back to the big city, stopping to see ancient Aboriginal carvings that are known only by a few of us locals.
