Sydney's ferries have been travelling to and from Manly since 1895.
It's a must do experience for all visitors to Sydney as it takes in the spectacular sights of Manly Wharf, the Sydney Harbour, The Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Opera House and Circular Quay... and you can watch it all from front row seats.
The relaxing journey takes about half an hour. The Manly Ferry is a symbol of Sydney, it's popular with both commuters and tourists. In summer they can take 45,0000 people a day across to Manly.
To have a fantastic full day in Sydney I suggest you visit the Opera House in the morning, then catch the ferry over to Manly and have a relaxing day at the beach.
